Erma L. Alderman
Erma Louise Alderman, 90, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017, at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach.
Erma was born on September 24, 1927, in Green Ridge, the daughter of Stirley Ray Campbell and Mabel Louise (Butcher) Campbell.
On May 17, 1949, in Green Ridge, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Alderman, who preceded her in death on October 3, 1997.
Erma worked for the Missouri Division of Family Services for more than twenty years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sedalia, and the Sedalia Country Club, where she enjoyed golfing and playing bridge.
She is survived by two sons, Doug Alderman and his wife, Betty J., of Linn Creek, and Jeff Alderman and his wife Cathy, of Camdenton; four grandchildren, Sarah Alderman, Curtis Alderman, Jake Alderman, and Kylie DeVries; two great-grandchildren, Daxsyn DeVries and Serenity Alderman; and a brother, William Campbell, of Green Ridge.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Cemetery near Manila.
