Erville Dean

Erville Peacock Dean was born February 1, 1939 to Lester and Belma Peacock in Ariton, AL. She often referred to herself and Mrs. JW Dean both because she was proud of being his wife and because it could be difficult for people to pronounce her first name. She went to be with her Lord Jesus and many family and friends on May 16, 2018. She married JW in her family home in New Brockton, AL on April 1, 1962. They moved a few times before settling in Fenton, Mo where they raised two children. She worked outside the home as the children grew including Murphy Elementary and at North Jefferson Middle School and finally the Ballwin Post Office.

Erville fondly remembered attending church with her family as a youth and continued this with her own family at the First Baptist Church of Murphy and then at the East Sedalia Baptist Church when she and JW retired to Sedalia, MO.

Erville enjoyed volunteering at Bothwell Hospital and Open Door and spending time with her church family on the Kitchen Committee and delivering Meals On Wheels.

Erville will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and a good friend.

She also enjoyed tending her many plant and flower gardens in her yard where friends and strangers would stop to visit and admire the beautiful flowers, plants, birds and butterflies.

Erville was preceded to heaven by her husband JW, parents Lester & Belma Peacock, In-laws Nevin & Luvenna Dean, Billy & DaveEtta Dean, Tommy Greer, niece Stacie Dean and many other family & friends.

She leaves behind her children Kevin (Malinda) Dean of Jefferson City, MO, Sheri (Stacy) Harris of Waterloo, IA; Grandchildren Linsa, Justin, Joshua and Bethany Dean; Sister Faye (Don) Hundley of Enterprise, AL; Brother Neal Peacock of Flower Mound, TX; Sister-in-law Jeanne Greer of Huntsville, TX; Nieces and Nephews Keith (Becky) Hundley, David (Bridget) Hundley, Megan (Sam) Oakley, Mason Peacock, Michael Peacock, Jimmy Greer, Vicky Smith, Donnie Dean, James Len Dean, 5 Great Nieces and Nephews. 4 Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.
