Everette Allen Bohrer, 69, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
He was born March 21, 1947, in Craig, CO, son of Everette Merle and Esther Mae Hoggatt Bohrer.
Everette worked as a field mechanic in coal mines. He had also worked as a police officer.
He was a devout Christian and was a member of Stewart Avenue Church of Christ. He loved all people and to know him was to love him. He was a very friendly man and loved to talk to and joke with everyone. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are a son, Robbie Bohrer, of Clifton, CO; his father, Everette Bohrer, of Dinosaur, CO; a stepson, Shane; two stepdaughters, Selena and Caressa; four grandchildren, Sam, Tyson, Seth and Shauna; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie, Barbara and Melissa; and three brothers, Richard, Danny and Donnie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Bohrer; two stepdaughters, Debbie and Becky; and a sister, Ruby.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, at the Stewart Avenue Church of Christ, 1333 S. Stewart, Sedalia.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to a hospice organization of your choice in memory of Everette and family members who preceded him.
