Geneva Lee
Geneva Elizabeth Lee, 90, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp.
She was born May 14, 1922, in Sedalia, daughter of Chris and Jennie Carlson Mincoff. On June 1, 1945, in Sedalia, she married Nelson B. Lee, who died September 15, 2003.
Mrs. Lee was a member of Parkview Christian Church. She enjoyed making crafts, sewing and camping.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Lee, and his wife, Margaret, of Liberty, MO, and Steven Lee, and his wife, Carolyn, of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Eric Lee, Gina Lee and her husband, Justin Wilkerson, Brian Lee and his wife, Christina, and Kevin Lee; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan; and two sisters, Elsie Bartlett and Lenora Sedgewick.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.
Casket bearers will be Brian Lee, Kevin Lee, Eric Lee, Stephen Ryan, Louis Sholly and Richard Simon.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at Heckart Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Parkview Christian Church.
