Geraldine L. “Jeri” Holeman, 100, of Sedalia, died Monday, March 17, 2025, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born September 10, 1924, the daughter of William J. and Maud (Mather) Paul.
In 1946, she was married to Elmo Pfetcher. To this union were born two sons, William Troy and James Dwight. She later married Keith Holeman in 1971. He passed away September 3, 2008.
She was an honor graduate of Green Ridge High School in 1942 and attended Central Business College in Sedalia. She first worked for Shryock Wright Grocery Co. as a civil service employee. She later worked for the US Corps of Engineers at Sedalia and Warsaw and for the US Air Force at Whiteman.
She enjoyed embroidery and flower gardening.
Jeri is survived by her two sons, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Holeman was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William J. “Dub” Paul.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Antioch Cemetery near Green Ridge, with Rev. Jim Andrews officiating.
Pallbearers will be William Pfetcher, James Pfetcher, Kevin Pfetcher, Jason Pfetcher, and Logan Seymour.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Pfetcher, Sam Pfetcher, Lauren Pfetcher, Emma Seymour, and Ruby Pfetcher.
Memorials are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
