Geraldine Marie “Geri” Williams, 82, of Knob Noster, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Rest Haven Convalescent Home.
She was born February 15, 1942, in Washington, MO, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Kopmann) Luecke. On October 7, 1978, in Gower, she married Charles A. Williams who survives of the home.
She was a 1960 graduate of St. Francis Borgia High School in Washington. She received her BA in photography from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
Geri did office work most of her working years and two years as a Blackjack dealer.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crafts. She and her husband loved fishing and hunting.
In addition to her husband, Geri is survived by five children, JoAnne Jones-Kennedy, of Kansas City, KS, Anne Marie Smethers, of Seymour, TN, Crista Jane Farrer, of Littleton, CO, Christopher James Scholten, of Camdenton and Jennifer Kathleen Scholten, of Palo Pinto, TX; three step children, Robert Kelly Williams, of St. Joseph, Victoria Elaine Wyatt, of Green Forest, AR and Debra Sue Lewis, of St. Joseph; a sister, Genevieve Marquart, of Washington; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Marie Compton; and two brothers, Norbert Luecke and Charlie Luecke.
No services are planned at this time.
