Harold C. Jones

Harold Curtis Jones, 83, of Sedalia, died Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

He was born September 7, 1934, in McCredie, MO, the son of Harold C. Jones Sr. and Blanche Reed Jones.

Harold was a 1952 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After his military service he worked for Boeing Sperry. He later attended University of Missouri-Columbia.

On September 2, 1958, in Sedalia, he was married to Marie A. “Toni” Fowler, who survives of the home.

Harold was co-owner and head of maintenance of Tullis Hall Dairy. He later worked for Pepsi and had a confined swine operation for Cargill. In his retirement, he worked at Tipton School as a custodian.

Harold was a master craftsman. He was happiest when he was at home. He loved his house, his family and his Yorkies.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, Toni, survivors include five children, Kay Fuller (Doug), of Oklahoma, Marc Jones (Pat), of Tipton, Cindy Redig (Robert), of Stanberry, Steve Jones, of Sedalia, and Scott Jones, of Sedalia; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joan Monsees, of Columbia, and Joyce Bozarth, of Salina, KS.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean O’Neill and Janet Schwarz.

Funeral services will be held at

1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, January 10, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sandy Davis officiating.

Casket bearers will be Doug Fuller, Robert Redig, Jules Constantin, Mike Bernard and Matthew Redig.

Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Syracuse.

The family will receive friends from

12:30 p.m.

until service time

Wednesday

at the funeral home.
