Helen Lucille Findley, 75, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013, at Parkview Estates in Sedalia.
She was born June 4, 1938, in Sedalia, daughter of Lyman Luther and Effie Augusta Mullineaux Guyman.
On December 17, 1983, in Otterville, she was married to Richard E. Findley, who preceded her in death.
Helen graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1956. She served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1959 at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. She was a communication center specialist. After her honorable discharge from the military, she worked as a typesetter/printer for Parkhurst Manufacturing in Sedalia. She enjoyed making crafts and Christmas ornaments and giving them as gifts.
Surviving are nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five older sisters and four older brothers.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
