Helen Irene Evans, 90, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was born November 22, 1924, the daughter of Kitty Louise and David Ambrose Pirtle. On June 27, 1942, she was married to Charles Frederick Evans, who preceded her in death December 7, 2006.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her beloved daughter, Jacqueline “Jinx” Moore, and her husband, Stanley; a sister, Bonnie Schumaker; a niece and several nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Pirtle.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Marlin Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Heckart Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the youth ministry of First Baptist Church.
