Surviving are six children: Almeda J. Menefee (Tony), of Branson, Alice A. Morrison (John), of Sedalia, Richard C. Middleton (Carol), of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Monica J. Paull, of Sedalia, Lynn Middleton (Rita), of Sedalia, and Rowena J. Nickell (Dennis), of Smithton; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She considered the five generations of her family quite an accomplishment.
