James Edward “Jim” Webb, 81, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
He was born February 22, 1940, in Wayne County, WV, son of the late Ernest Bus and Martha Lois (Noe) Webb.
On September 28, 1974, in Lorain, OH, he married Elizabeth Ann (Wohlever).
Jim worked for Ford Motor Company as a spray painter for 31 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed doing word searches, watching the Chiefs, and being outside. He was a sweet husband, a caring person and loved his kids very much.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth, of the home; four children, Melissa Driver of Ashland, KY, Robert Webb of Sedalia, Scott Carpenter of Houston, TX, and James Webb of Vermilion, OH; twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sue Cavins and Pat Fluty, both of Ft. Gay, WV.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Crown Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Show-Me Christian Youth Home or Calvary Baptist Church.
