James Robert Mckenzie
James Robert “Bob” McKenzie, 72, of Sedalia, died Friday, July 9, 2021, at Nathan Richard Healthcare in Nevada.
He was born December 5, 1948, in Sedalia, son of Forrest Milton and Dixie Ruth (Johnson) McKenzie.
Bob was a 1966 Smith-Cotton High School graduate and attended Central Missouri State University. He moved to Kansas City and worked at Western Electric. Later he was a forklift driver.
Surviving are his brother, Forrest Eugene “Gene” McKenzie (wife, Charlotte); niece, Jeana McCannon (husband, Collin); great-nephew, Darren James McCannon; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
