For those of you who knew her, know she loved to read. Have you ever seen her without a book? One in the car, probably several on the nightstand, and a pile next to her favorite chair (she called these her desperation reading). She had several favorite authors of whom she passed along to friends, other book lovers, and even people she didn’t know. At her death she had a list of all the books she had read from the Boonslick Library since 1999 and it numbered over 4,463. YES, she really did love to read.
