Jean Brummet
Genevieve Jean (Abelhouzen) Brummet, 86, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp.
She was born April 19, 1932, in Salt Lake City, UT, daughter of Albert F. and Genevieve L. (Heisterberg) Abelhouzen.
On April 23, 1993, she was married to Fred Brown Brummet, who died September 15, 2006.
Jean worked at the A&P and Safeway Supermarkets for many years. She was a Christian and member of Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Ginny (Virginia) Abelhouzen, of Cole Camp; and a brother, Alan Abelhouzen, of Altadena, CA.
She was preceded in death by parents and husband.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Matt Edwards officiating.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Faith Baptist Church.
