Jean Hinton, 87, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, at her home.
She was born January 20, 1931, in Oklahoma City, OK, daughter of Clarence and Carrie Flewellen.
She was married to Bob Hinton, who preceded her in death.
Jean enjoyed going to church, shopping, collecting antiques and making crafts. She was a Christian and active in her church. Jean was strong willed, extremely resilient and had a sweet heart.
Surviving are three children, Dwight Butler, of Orlando, FL, Sharon Atkins, of Merced, CA, and Spencer Butler, of Stockton, CA; and ten grandchildren.
The family of Jean Hinton would like to express how much your kind words of sympathy meant. Your kindness and care brought comfort, relief and peace-of-mind during a very challenging time. We are deeply humbled and grateful for the years of love and friendship bestowed upon Jean and cannot accurately express how much this not only meant to her, but us as well. You all are truly a blessing. We do not know what we would have done without your help, comfort and lending hands with all that needed to be done. We will always remember your kindness.
