In Loving Memory…
Jimmie Joe Erfurth, 64, of Sedalia, MO, passed away September 6, 2018.
Jimmie was born July 10, 1954. He was the son of Paul Charles Erfurth and Anna Lorene (Moore) Erfurth of Smithton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lorene, and his sister, Kathy (Erfurth) Carwile.
Jimmie is survived by his daughter, Kristy Lewis, of Sedalia; two sons, Kenneth Paul Erfurth, of Wildwood, and Christopher Lee Erfurth, of Sedalia; two sisters, Marylynn “Tootie” Erfurth Sommerer, of Oak Grove, and Carol Sue “Suzy” Comstock, of Sedalia; and two brothers, Robert H. “Bobby” Erfurth, of Smithton, and Leeallan Erfurth, of Smithton.
Surviving of the home are Susan Lynn (Campbell) Erfurth and Cassianna Marie Barr.
Jimmie had five grandchildren: Cecilia Cox, Joshua Lewis, Cassianna Barr, Abigail Erfurth, and Ingrid Erfurth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmie Joe retired from the Pettis County Road Crew. Before that, he had his own garage, East 12
th
Auto. He enjoyed working on cars and lawn mowers. He always had a knack of guessing what was wrong with a vehicle just by listening to it run. Jimmie would always help a friend or neighbor if something was broke down and they needed help. He was also there is someone needed a ride to the store or doctor. Jimmie enjoyed his mornings at Hardees where he had coffee and talked with friends about cars, fishing and hunting. But always Jimmie was a mechanic at heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 10, at Heckart Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
