Jimmy Rodgers Arndt, Jr., 51, of Sedalia, formerly of North Kansas City, passed away peacefully April 4, 2017, at his home.
He was born September 11, 1965, in Marshall, the son of Jimmy Rodgers Arndt, Sr. and Opal Deloris Kelso.
He was united in marriage to Trilica Alexander on September 30, 1994 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Jimmy worked for Herregan Distributors and was a member of First Christian Church of North Kansas City.
He enjoyed fishing, was an avid collector of hot sauces and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife Trilica, he is survived by two sisters, Deloris Wise and Tina Arndt, both of Marshall; a brother, Frank Arndt, of Sedalia; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jordon Tyler Arndt; a sister Patricia Arndt; and a brother Randy Arndt.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
