Jody Franklin, 68, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
She was born July 12, 1949, in Sedalia, the daughter of Joseph H. Franklin and Ina Locks Franklin, who preceded her in death.
Jody worked for many years at the Ewing Vocational Center. She enjoyed playing games on her tablet, watching TV and playing with her cats. She was a friend to everybody and would do anything for anybody.
Surviving are three brothers, Alvin Franklin, Tommy Franklin and Steve Franklin, and two sisters, Deloris Obra and Edna Averback, all of Sedalia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 18, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Johnnie Medlock officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
