John James Green
John James Green, 80 of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at his home.
He was born March 9, 1939, in Ottawa, IL, a son of John Francis and Dolores (Coen) Green. On September 25, 1965 in Chicago, IL, he married Dorothy Bucher who survives of the home.
John graduated from Washburne Trade School in Chicago and worked as a machinist for many years. He enjoyed working on his cars or anything he could get his hands on.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years; three children, John Robert Green (Amy) of Dyer, IN, Jerry Matthew Green of Sedalia, MO, Laurie Ann Green of Sedalia, MO; three grandchildren, Brittany Marie Pierson, Matthew Scott Pierson, Anthony Bruno Green; one great-grandchild, Mason Michael Cheyney and one sister, MaryLou Phebus.
In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Lawrence and Thomas “Woody” Green.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, MO.
