Joni L. Bale

Joni Lynn Bale, 63, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday morning, June 4, 2022, at her home.

She was born September 30, 1958, in Illinois, daughter of Donald and Dorothy (Harmon) Ward.

Joni worked at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center as a housekeeper. She was a member of Abundant Harvest Worship Center.

She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to garage sales. Joni will be remembered as a giving person with a good heart.

Surviving are three sons, Scott Vansel of Kansas City, Jason Vansel of Sedalia, and Daniel Powers (Michelle) of Sedalia; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Ward; and two sisters, Debbie Preece and Betty Vansel.

Joni was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Alissa.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Abundant Harvest Worship Center in Sedalia.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
