Joyce Ann Schilb, 67, of Knob Noster, passed away Monday evening, August 5, 2019, at her home.
She was born May 10, 1952, in Sedalia, daughter of Wilson E. and Ruth M. (Finley) Tyler.
On August 20, 1994, at La Monte Christian Church, she married Robert Schilb.
Joyce was a librarian at La Monte School. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, gardening, traveling, genealogy, reading and canning vegetables. She was a member of La Monte Christian Church where she volunteered in many capacities.
Joyce was kind, caring and had a heart of gold. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Robert, of the home; two children, Ashley Hill (David), of Knob Noster, and Amanda Cooper (Kenny), of Mora; seven grandchildren, Christian Parsons, Kaden Parsons, Ian Hill, Kaden Hill, August Hill, Kennlee Cooper and Wyatt Cooper; three brothers, Jim Tyler, of Knob Noster, Dean Tyler, of Leeton, and Ray Tyler, of Knob Noster; and a sister, Diana Jewett, of Windsor.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2019, at La Monte Christian Church, with Pastor Alan Morse officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Burial will follow in La Monte Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Scott Gard, Jeremy Dillon, Jim Tyler Jr., Michael Tyler, Tanner Young and Christian Parsons.
