Joyce N. Diotte, 92, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, at her home.
She was born March 22, 1926, in Saline County, MO, the daughter of Durward and Venton Elsea Venable.
On December 16, 1943, in Sedalia, she married George Diotte, who preceded her in death on December 23, 2008.
Mrs. Diotte was primarily a homemaker, but had worked for a short time as a clerk at Whiteman Air Force Base. She was a graduate of the Sedalia Business College. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are a son, Dave Diotte and wife, Teresa, of Jefferson City; a daughter, Barbara Musslin, of Sedalia; a sister, Doris Bivens and husband, Jones, of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Bradley.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at First Christian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Chad McMullin officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
