Judy Bell Keele, 77, of Sedalia, passed onto the Lord and rejoined the love of her life on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at E.W. Thompson Health & Rehab Center.
She was born September 25, 1944, in Lincoln, the youngest of nine children born to the late Alpha and Grace Thomas. On August 1, 1959, she married Jim Keele, who preceded her in death on January 9, 2008.
During her working career, Judy was employed at various manufacturers in the area including Rival Manufacturing and Waterloo Industries.
Judy enjoyed crafting, dancing, vegetable and flower gardening, fishing, crossword puzzles, playing cards and going to the boats. She was an immaculate housekeeper and great cook, known for making the best fried chicken and potato salad. She was a Christian.
Survivors include: five children, Pam Moon (Monte), of Sedalia, David Keele, of Sedalia, Debra Jarvis (Cliff), of Columbia, Sorita Walter (Barry), of Sedalia and Vanessa Plummer (Matt), of Hallsville; five grandchildren, Lisa Young, Jessica Hoehne, Madison Plummer, Jake Plummer and Ryan Walter; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Johnson; and two brothers and six sisters.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
