Julia A. Hathaway
Julia A. Hathaway, 67, of La Monte, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016, at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit.
She was born February 6, 1949, in Sedalia, daughter of Charles A.M. and Agnes A. Hall Lee. On November 24, 1965, in Sedalia, she was married to Michael E. Hathaway, who died in 1995.
She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Congregation.
Survivors include four children, Christina Hathaway, of La Monte, Milton Hathaway, of La Monte, Mitchell Hathaway, of Knob Noster, and Michael Hathaway Jr., of Cole Camp; five grandchildren, Joshua Hathaway, Mattie Hathaway-Cunningham, Sloan Hathaway, James Hathaway and Corra Hathaway; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Minor, of La Monte, Wanda Sawyer, of Lucerne Valley, CA; and a brother, Donnie Lee, of Stover;
A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, at Heckart Funeral Home.
Burial will be in La Monte Cemetery.
