Justin Andrew Klein, 36, of Sedalia, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, after a battle with COVID-19.
He was born March 25, 1985, in Sedalia, son of Timothy Klein and Debra (Vansell) Klein.
Justin was a 2003 graduate of Whittier High School. He was employed by Owens Corning and was a member of the Steel Workers Union.
Justin loved nothing more than being outside, whether gardening, fishing, mushroom hunting or helping his grandpa work on tractors. He enjoyed woodworking and took pride in the truck that he worked hard to buy. Justin always had a smile and was easy going and full of life. He had a lot of friends and was always there to help. He thought the world of his grandparents who helped raise him. He was an avid Buccaneers and Kansas Jayhawks fan. The love he and Raime had together was immeasurable.
Surviving are his beloved partner of eight years, Raime Bain; his father, Timothy Klein; his mother, Debra Klein; his grandfather, Andrew Klein; three sisters, April Norman, Amanda Knifong and Amy Knapp; his brother, Timmy Klein; several aunts; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Klein; grandparents, Kenneth and Marcella Vansell; uncle, Steve Klein; and friend, Rusty Bain.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Heckart Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honorary bearers will be Chris Salmons, Nick Davis, Nolan Smith, Jay Crum, J.R. Hicks, Mike Norman, Jeremy Boatman, Zach Nicholson and Stephen Phillips.
