Karen June “Judy” Callahan, 82, of Sedalia, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at her home.
She was born January 17, 1939, in Deepwater, MO, daughter of Charles and Audrey (Price) Landes. On July 30, 1957, in Clinton, MO, she married Thomas W. Callahan, who survives of the home.
Karen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia. She loved her family, music, snow, cardinals, and babies. Her many talents included playing the piano, organ, sewing for her family and cooking. She also enjoyed crocheting, coloring and drawing.
Survivors include her husband Thomas of 63 years, 8 children, Steve, Cheré and her husband Bill, Kelly Jo and her husband Rusty, Jeffrey and his wife Sharon, Clint and his wife Cheryl, Kim and her husband Tom, Micah and his wife Tanya, and Melissa and her husband Marty; 19 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
In addition to both of her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, three sisters, and one grandson.
A private family graveside will be held at Hickory Point Cemetery near Green Ridge.
