Kathleen M. “Kay” Hardin, 90, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was born September 19, 1930 in Denver, Colorado, a daughter of Richard and Mary (Harrison) Browne.
In 1950, she married John Oliver Hardin, who preceded her in death on April 6, 2015.
Kay was an active member in the Sedalia Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved studying the Bible and sharing its truths with others. She centered her life around her faith and caring for her husband and 9 children. Kay was keenly interested in people, and learning about all of God’s fascinating creations, she enjoyed bee keeping, and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.
Survivors include, three sons, Tim Hardin (Melda) of Grand Junction, CO, Rick Hardin (Laura) of Platteville, CO and Frank Hardin (Diana) of Las Cruces, NM; and four daughters, Cynthia Dawson (Robert) of Cole Camp, MO, Pamela Garcia (Anthony) of Smithton, MO, Rosemary Borrelli (Bret) of Milwaukee, WI and Holly Hardin of Fort Lupton, CO; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marjorie Cheney of Delta, CO.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, John and two daughters, Nancy Fuller and Laurel Robers.
Private services will be held at a later date.
