Kathryn C. Frye-Jasir, 61, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born April 11, 1954, in Illinois, daughter of William and Marilyn Ortmann.
Kathryn was very much a people person. She loved meeting new people. She was a mother to everybody. She enjoyed playing games on the Internet. She worked for ETS Taxi in Sedalia.
Surviving are her husband, Talal Jasir, of the home; a daughter, Martha Paxton, of Warrensburg; three grandchildren, William, Elizabeth and Charlotte; a sister, Lisa Ortmann; and a brother, William Ortmann.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
