Keith Corbett, 63, of Sedalia, ended his struggles in this life on earth by the grace and mercy of his Lord Jesus Christ and was called home on Tuesday, September 29, 2015.
He was born July 11, 1952, in Sedalia, son of Harry Dale Corbett and Deloris Knoles Allen. On March 7, 1972, in Smithton, he married Brenda Boatman, who survives. From this 39 year union, they were blessed with two children and five grandchildren.
Keith made a career out of his archery hobby and talents for many years as owner of Corbett’s Archery Center. He was a truck driver later in life. He enjoyed racing, fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Also surviving are two children: Kimberly Tanner (Donny), of Sedalia, and Bryan Keith Corbett (Krista), of Ridgeway; his mother, Deloris Allen, of Sedalia; five grandchildren: Caitlyn Breann Tanner, Kinser Keith Corbett, Courtney Nicole Tanner, Chance Ashton Corbett, and Corbett Don Tanner; three sisters: Debby Ward, of Smithton, Tammy Wimmer, of Oak Grove, and Leanna Powers, of Edwards; and a brother, Mark McDonald, of Sedalia.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 3, at Heckart Funeral Home.
Honorary bearers will be Curt Wimmer, Jack Dukes, Steve Powers, Mike Beach, Tommy O’Neil, Ben Embree and Scott Schrader.
Burial will be in Flat Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, at Heckart Funeral Home.
