Kenneth E. Schondelmaier
Kenneth Eugene Schondelmaier, 92, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at E.W. Thompson Health & Rehab Center.
He was born July 26, 1929 in Houstonia, son of Bertram and Catherine (Reid) Schondelmaier. On October 17, 1959, in Corder, Missouri, he married Mary Ethlyn (House), who survives.
Kenneth served his country honorably in the US Marines from 1946 to 1948.
He taught Mathematics at State Fair Community College from 1969 until he retired in 1990.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mary Ethlyn, survivors include two children, Mark Schondelmaier, of Emporia, KS, and Nancy Cable (Mark), of Bloomington, IL; three grandchildren, Adam Schondelmaier, Matt Cable (Ally) and Megan Burton (Cole); and a sister, Lois Lindemann, of Sweet Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Richard Schondelmaier.
There will be no services. Burial will be in Houstonia Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
