Kimberly Ann Curry, 66, of Kansas City, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at her daughter’s home with loved ones around her.
She was born May 10, 1956, in Gibson City, IL, daughter of Robert and Josephine (Murrell) Curry.
Kim was a graduate of Smith-Cotton High School.
She loved her family dearly, especially her mother. Kim loved being around her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, loved to fish, and was always for the underdog.
Survivors include her mother, Josephine (Murrell) Curry, of Sedalia; brother, Robin Curry and wife Elizabeth, of Sedalia; brother, BJ Curry and wife Stacy, of Sedalia; lifelong companion, Gene Dudley Sr., of Kansas City; daughter, Ali Dudley, of Kansas City; son, Gene Dudley, Jr. and wife LaToyia, of Farmington; daughter, Malissa Curry, of Las Vegas; grandkids, Amori Dudley, Donyea Dudley, Mehki Curry, Makayla Curry, Maliyah Curry and Stephon Howard, Jr.; great-grandkids, Amir Hampton, Amias Hampton and Dominik Dudley-Moore, Jr.; many step-children, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Curry; grandson, Dominik Dudley-Moore, Sr.; and great-granddaughter, Dalilah Alston.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2022, at Crown Hill Cemetery.
