Landon E. Schroeder
Landon Eugene Schroeder, 53, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Rest Haven Convalescent Center.
He was born September 18, 1967, in Sedalia, a son of Donald Gene and Shirley Viola (Marriott) Schroeder.
Landon enjoyed helping others and was a long-time volunteer at The Salvation Army. He was an avid bike rider, liked to socialize and talk on his CB radio. He was member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his father, Don Schroeder (Mary), of Hughesville; a sister, Melissa Schroeder; a brother, Jeff Schroeder; a step-brother, Mike Stevens; a step-sister, Tammy Burnett, all of Sedalia.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Schroeder; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Jane and Lee Barnett; maternal grandfather, Bill Marriott; paternal grandparents, Jewell and Bill Schroeder.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at Heckart Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Steve Schroeder, Kerry Schroeder, Jeff Schroeder, Melissa Schroeder, Stan Coterel and Mike Stevens.
Burial will follow in Highland Sacred Gardens.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Heckart Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to The Salvation Army in care of the funeral home.
