Larry Dale Thurman, 71, of Warsaw, formerly of Bunceton, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, at his home.
He was born November 8, 1946, in Boone County, son of Archie D. and Bessie E. (Neil) Thurman.
On July 8, 1974, in Miami, OK, he married Linda S. (Marriott).
Larry was a Union carpenter with Local No. 1925. He served several years on the Bunceton School Board and was a member of Speed Union Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Thurman, of the home; two sons, Troy Thurman (Kristy), of Boonville, and Matt Thurman (Allison), of Warsaw; two daughters, Tanya Bishop (Keith), of Warsaw, and Brittney Thurman, of Warsaw; grandsons, Jason Thurman, of Boonville, Cody Thurman, of Boonville, and Trevor Thurman, of Kidder; granddaughters, Kaitlin Wills, of Virginia Beach, VA, Maeghan Thurman, of Boonville, and Randi Buccholz, of Warsaw; great-grandson, Emmit, of Boonville; great-granddaughter, Addison, of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Nancy Haas, of Boonville; and brother Ray Thurman, of Pilot Grove.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Donnie, Dennis and Tom Thurman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
