Larry Wayne Ditzfeld, 61, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born April 22, 1961, in Sedalia, son of Victor and Reva (Grosvenor) Ditzfeld.
On March 2, 1985, in Sedalia, he was married to Cindy (Brown), who survives of the home.
Larry was a graduate of Cole Camp High School. He managed convenience stores and later operated an ice cream truck.
He enjoyed playing pool and used to be on pool leagues. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football, and gambling. Larry was a good teacher to his kids and grandkids, and will be remembered as loving, fun and a little bit ornery.
In addition to his wife, Cindy, survivors include three children, Troy Fogarty, Christopher Brown (Shawnna), and Tiffany Ditzfeld, all of Sedalia; nine grandchildren, Victoria, Madysen, Hailey, Jordan, Dawlton, Slevin, Justus, Alexis and Kylee; a brother, Wesley Ditzfeld; mother-in-law, Betty Brown; and four brothers-in-law, Burl, Talmadge, Danny and Jimmy Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Kathy, Nancy and Vicky.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2023, at Heckart Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Fogarty, Christopher Brown, Jordan Fogarty, Dawlton Ditzfeld, Slevin Fogarty, Justus Fogarty, Wesley Ditzfeld, Burl Brown, Talmadge Brown, Danny Brown, Jimmy Brown and Joe Moore.
