Louise Bohlken Jones, 96, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.
She was born August 18, 1922, in Collins, MO, the daughter of Aubra and Velta (Nance) Higgins.
On September 13, 1942, in Garden City, she married Richard Bohlken, who died February 10, 1985.
On March 4, 1995, in Sedalia, she married Marlin Jones, who died September 16, 2008.
Louise was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, gardening and going to yard sales. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a son, Ronald Bohlken, of Edwards, MO; two granddaughters, Connie Iman, of Stover, and Michelle Nesler (Steven), of Sedalia; four great-grandchildren, Marinda, Morgan and Matthew Iman, and Trevor Nesler; an uncle, Vernon Nance, of Kansas City; and a nephew, Dwight Chernish (Ann), of Indianapolis, IN.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lelia Chernish; grandson-in-law, Kevin Iman; several aunts and uncles.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 13, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Heckart Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
