Leo Gregory Jackson

Leo Gregory Jackson, six weeks young, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2024.

Born October 7, 2024, in Sedalia, he was the third child of Frank Jr. and Cheyenne (Lawson) Jackson.

Leo was a mellow, peaceful, and happy baby whose smile lit up the room, especially when he saw his mommy and daddy. He loved watching a video of his mommy kissing him, a simple moment that will always be treasured. Leo was deeply loved by his big brother and sister, who were his biggest fans and shared a special bond with him.

Alert and curious, Leo would follow voices with his eyes and take in the world around him. Though his time with us was far too short, his presence was a gift, filling his family’s hearts with love and precious memories that will last a lifetime.

Surviving are his parents of the home; sister, Evelynn Jackson; brother, Christopher Jackson; maternal grandparents, Jenny and Chris Lawson; paternal grandparents, Virginia and Jeremy Crocie; maternal great-grandpa, Gregory Zule; paternal great-grandpa, Arthur Willey; maternal great-great-grandma, Verda Visocsky; paternal great-great-grandparents, Kathleen and William Jackson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandpa, Frank Jackson, Sr.; great-grandma, Sherry Zule; great-great-grandpa, Leo Visocsky; and great-great-grandma, Elizabeth Dodds.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2024, at Heckart Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m.
