Leon T. Hinckley

Leon Thomas Hinckley, 28, of Windsor, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2017, in Sedalia, Missouri.

Leon was born on September 22, 1988, in Wheatland, Wyoming.

Leon loved music and loved to draw. He also enjoyed fishing and camping. He had a pure heart and a beautiful smile that would brighten anyone’s day. He cared for his friends and family and was protective of them. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was always being funny and goofy.

Leon was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Windsor.

He is survived by his mother, Tara Hinckley, of Windsor, and Chuck Benn, who raised him, of Lincoln; a daughter, Layla Bonnie Faith Hinckley born two weeks ago; and his grandparents, Gareth Lance and Kathi Lance.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. noon Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church in Windsor.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
