In Loving Memory…

Lillian Geraldine “Jerry” Brown, 87, of Green Ridge, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013, at Castleparke Assisted Living Center in Jefferson City.

She was born September 17, 1926, in Green Ridge, daughter of John and Dolly Stout. In 1956, she married Walter Harold Brown, who preceded her in death in 1991.

Mrs. Brown was a farm wife. Her greatest enjoyment was taking care of her family. She had been a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Ronnie Brown, of Jefferson City; four grandsons, Matt Brown, of Effingham, IL, Ben Brown, of Las Vegas, NV, Preston Brown, of Jefferson City, and Dawson Brown, of Jefferson City; two great-grandchildren, Xander and Palmer; a brother-in-law, Don Brown, of Green Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sibling in infancy.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elvis Durrill officiating.

Casket bearers will be Matt Brown, Ben Brown, Dave Morris, Stanley Embree, Jeremy Brownfield and Randy Howard.

Honorary bearers will be Don Brown, Dennis Brown, Kyle Brown and Gary Stokes.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time Tuesday at Heckart Funeral Home.
