Linda Lee Holstine, 77, of West Plains, formerly of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
She was born November 19, 1943, in Peoria, IL, daughter of the late Leslie H. and Sadie Margie (Hull) Presley. On June 18, 1961, in West Plains, she married Kenneth Guy Holstine, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2019.
Linda was a military wife. She supported her husband throughout his military career and continued to assist him with his duties as coordinator of the VFW Post 2591 military honors team.
She worked as optician in Sedalia for several years and also taught English as a second language for a short period of time.
She was a member of Katy Park Baptist Church while living in Sedalia, and most recently attended Hill Top Chapel, the church her father helped found. Her hobbies included reading, genealogy, and sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals. She loved her family.
Survivors include three children, Amy S. Tackitt (Garry) of Gepp, AR, Kenneth W. Holstine (Lori) of West Plains, MO, Bethany W. Rimel of Odessa, MO; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one on the way; a brother, Joe Presley (Ruth) and a sister, Nora Wilson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Presley (Ruth), Jack Presley (Joan) and sister, June Zuercher (Curt); and a brother-in-law, Wayne Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Katy Park Baptist Church in Sedalia.
