Linda Marie Curry, 70, of Otterville, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at her home.
She was born June 19, 1951, in Sedalia, a daughter of the late Golfery “Golf” and Zelma Fern (Burks) Huddleston. On October 9, 1987, in La Monte, she married Wayne Curry.
Linda was a 1969 graduate of La Monte High School.
She was a homemaker and the best wife and mom anybody could have. Her life was dedicated to being a mom and grandma. She enjoyed canning and cooking. She was a member of Tipton Assembly of God and loved going to church.
Linda is survived by her husband, Wayne; nine children, Tammy Dingus, Adam Allen, Cynthia Lawrence, Stephanie Curry, Elisha Curry, Crystal Dillon, Jacob Curry, Jonathan Curry and Joshua Curry; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Paul Huddleston, Dwight Huddleston, Leonard Huddleston and Gerald Huddleston; three sisters, Sharon Boggs, Pat Withrow and Barb Roofe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons; three brothers, Billy Huddleston, Emmett Huddleston and Harold Huddleston; and a sister, Erma.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at Heckart Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Yount officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Curry, Jonathan Curry, Joshua Curry, James Dingus, Michael Dingus and Joshua Halgren.
Burial will be in La Monte Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
