Linda S. Turner, 80, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at her home.
She was born December 8, 1940, in Oklahoma City, OK, to the late Howard and Nona (Broaddus) Turner.
After a long career with the Atlanta Braves in Atlanta, GA, Linda moved to her parent’s home in rural Pettis County. While in Sedalia, she owned and operated Nona’s Nostalgias and was a long-time director of the Pettis County Chapter of United Way.
She loved gardening, traveling with her kids, spoiling her grandkids, and spending time with her friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Christine Bell (Thad) and Kathryn Branigan (Jim), all of Atlanta; four grandchildren, David, Katy, Thomas and Michael; and one great-grandchild, Theo.
A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to United Way in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
