Lonny D. Pottorff
Lonny Dean Pottorff, 59, of Gravois Mills, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at his home.
He was born December 28, 1957, in Gardenia, CA, the son of Calvin Pottorff and Barbara (Mann) Groves.
Lonny served his country in the U.S. Navy and National Guard Reserves.
He enjoyed playing cards and lottery scratchers. He wrote poems and used to make jewelry. He will be remembered as a “clown,” always laughing and making others laugh.
Surviving are his daughter, Angela Witt (Adam), of Sheboygan, WI; four siblings, Danny, Dawn, Deb and Dixie; two half-sisters, Trish and Susie; and step-daughter, Molly Martin, of Stover;
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Butch, Dee and Wayne.
Cremation is planned with interment in the Ft. Scott National Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
