Lori Ann Tapia, 32, of Knob Noster, passed away, Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
She was born August 25, 1982, in Warrensburg, MO, daughter of Lloyd and Vickie Lynn Iiams Bentley.
On September 15, 2006, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Luis Manuel Tapia, who survives of the home.
Lori was a very caring person. She was a CNA and worked at the Ability Group Home and loved the kids she worked with. She also loved working with her animals.
She was baptized at Heartland Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother, Leon Bentley, of Centerville; one sister, Julie Bentley-Geoff, of Nebraska; four nieces, Laissey, Makalla, Karrya, and Kali; and 3 nephews, John, Jr., Kavan, and Ronnie.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, with Jeff Page officiating.
