Lula Mae Craig, 95, of Tightwad, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehab Center.
Lula was born September 18, 1926, in Green Ridge, MO, a daughter of the late Oren and Opal (Cordry) Durrill. On August 23, 1946, she married Frank C. Craig, who preceded her in death on April 23, 2012.
Mrs. Craig was a housewife, mother and a seamstress at Lee’s and Mandale Dress Factory in Kansas City, MO. She was a Baptist and loved the Lord. She loved teaching Sunday School and going to church.
Survivors include a son, Frank M. Craig, of Tightwad, MO; two grandchildren, Terry S. Craig (Christine) and great-grandson, Levi, of Birmingham, MO, and Bryon Pike (Leah) and a great-grandson, Cairn, of Creston, CO; a brother, Kenneth Durrill, of Sedalia; and a sister, Ada Louise Biggs, of Sedalia; and nine nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Frank C. Craig and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Durrill and Howard Durrill; and a sister, Ruby Mahin.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at Heckart Funeral Home.
Private burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
