Mackie Ray Ritchie

Mackie Ray Ritchie, 69, of Marshall, MO, passed away, Monday, July 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born the oldest of seven children on December 18, 1954 in Dexter, MO, to Glen Dirle and Lucy (Melson) Ritchie. 

Mackie moved to the Marshall and Carrollton area with his family and this is where he met his wife Janice Kay McGuire Dothage. They were married on June 24, 1994 in Marshall, MO. 

Mackie worked at Main Street Restaurant in Carrollton, Rival in Sweet Springs, and GE in Slater, which later became Parker Hannifin where he retired from. In his spare time he enjoyed arrowhead hunting, metal detecting, barbequing, and eating out / going out dancing with family and friends. He also enjoyed making smores with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Survivors include his wife Jani; daughter Crystal; two grandchildren, Destiny and her husband Kaine, Onyx and partner Dekerd; two brothers, Donnie, and Glen Clifford; one sister, Becky; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. 

Mackie was preceded in death by both of his parents, two brothers, Floyd and Eddie; and one sister, Anna.
