Margret Elsie Bradley, 88, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, in Dewey, OK.
She was born September 25, 1929, in Morgan County, the daughter of Rowen Samuel Woolery and Goldie Mable (McCray) Woolery.
On December 22, 1947, she married Ward Busker.
In 1956, she married Omer E. Bradley, who died February 9, 1978.
Mrs. Bradley worked as a waitress for many years. She was a member and taught Sunday School at Calvary Baptist Church. She was a former member of Sedalia Chapter 57 Order of the Eastern Star, and White Shrine of Jerusalem. She enjoyed music, flowers, cooking, fishing, boating, traveling and doing fancy work. She also supported the church youth group over the years by cooking for them and going on mission trips with them.
Surviving are a son, Sam Bradley (Kelly), of Copan, OK; a daughter, Ardenia “Deanie” Robbins, of Lee’s Summit, MO; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ward E. “Gene” Busker; three sisters, Wilma Schoening, Alma Koester and Glenda Davis; and five brothers, Jewel, Earl, Omer, Ralph and Orval Woolery.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ted Francis officiating.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Orval Woolery memorial fund at Harmony Baptist Association which helps send kids to church camp.
