Maria Rouse, 59, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, after a five year battle with cancer.
She was born January 30, 1956, in Zanesville, OH, daughter of Mary Fox.
On September 23, 1993, in Buffalo Gap, TX, she was united in marriage to Don Rouse, who survives of the home.
She worked for American Compressed Steel as a scale operator.
Maria enjoyed crafting and anything zebra, but her most enjoyment came from her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Charity and Faith Stacy, both of Sedalia; three grandchildren, McKenna, Jenny and Christopher; and a special aunt, who raised her, Beulah Apperson.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter.
