Marlene Jean Neidholdt, 85, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, at Four Seasons Living Center.
She was born September 23, 1936, in Sedalia, daughter of Guy Elton and Myrtle Lee (Burford) Payne. She was married to Kenneth Neidholdt.
Marlene was a member of Smithton Baptist Church. She worked for Bothwell Medical Supply.
She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and loved dogs. She enjoyed reading, especially the local paper, the Missouri Conservationist and National Geographic. Marlene kept to herself, but was very intelligent and was interested in keeping up with world events. She was generous with others.
Surviving are two nieces, Lisa Stokan (Matthew) and Rebecca Callaway.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, Glenn Payne and Troy Alan Payne.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery.
