Mary Ann Heineman, 99, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday evening, November 30, 2016, at Fair View Nursing Home.
She was born October 4, 1917, in Sedalia, daughter of Thomas W. and Jessie Potter Fair. On November 28, 1953, in Sedalia, she was married to Albert A. Heineman, who preceded her in death on October 13, 1996.
Mrs. Heineman was a talented seamstress. She made uniforms for the National Guard, made costumes for the Lyceum Theater, and made dresses and tuxedoes for many weddings. She enjoyed puzzles, word searches and crafts. Her family was her world. She lived for her kids. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving are three children, Barbara Crowell (Jack), of Otterville, Michael Heineman, of Sedalia, and Susan Larmeir (Frank), of Hickory Creek, TX; a daughter-in-law, Jan Roark; daughter-in-law, Renee Heineman; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, LeRoy Roark; three grandchildren; two brothers, John Fair and C.T. Fair; and three sisters, Irene Wilken, Hazel Grinstead and Mildred Mittenburg.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 9, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, at Heckart Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Larmeir, William Raines, Chris Robinson, Danny Roark, Johnnie Stuart and Richard Schlobohm.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dumonee Larmeir, Jason Larmeir and Kerry Peace.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
