In Loving Memory…

Mary Anna Oehrke, 84, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014, at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.

She was born January 7, 1930, in Otterville, daughter of Lawrence E. and Augusta Lea Wheatley Bottom. On January 11, 1948, in Otterville, she married Leroy Oehrke, who preceded her in death on June 25, 2002.

Mrs. Oehrke and her husband enjoyed making and selling crafts and were members of the Show-Me Crafters for 30 years. She also enjoyed crocheting angels and painting on gourds. She was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed going to the Otterville Senior Center and to dances in Marshall. She worked for Town and Country Shoes in early years. She most recently attended First Baptist Church in Otterville.

Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Kolsky (Joe), of Sedalia; a granddaughter, Kathy Kolsky, of Sedalia; two brothers, Leo Bottom, of Slater, and Glen Bottom (Beverly), of Sedalia; a sister, Norma Duckworth, of Otterville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Bottom.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page, Funeral Celebrant officiating.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at Heckart Funeral Home.
